The Sentinel-3 Performance improvement for ICE sheets (SPICE) project objective is to test and implement improved or novel algorithms and techniques, in order to optimise and evaluate processing of Sentinel-3 SAR mode data over ice sheets. The study will deliver important new scientific results and establish a solid methodological basis for the development of a new era of operational SAR altimetry over the polar ice sheets.
